WalkWithMe is a project undertaken as part of Managing Disruptive Technologies at Carnegie Mellon University.

A team of four worked on an idea to provide platform for students to leverage each other to increase safety while walking back home from university campus.

We started with a market survey to find the market fit for the idea. We moved on to identifying target audience and created user personas to better articulate our platform better.

 

The prototype has the basic functionality of taking input from users and forming a group of users based on pre-defined zones. Zones are calculated based on pre-defined locations around CMU campus. This can further be enhanced to be dynamic based on user inputs.
